Volunteer Resources

The Central Islip Public Library is committed to providing Volunteer opportunities to students in grades 6th – 12th grade. All students interested in volunteering with the Central Islip Public Library must fill out a volunteer application form and return it to the Reference Department.

By filling out an application, this does not guarantee that the library will provide Volunteer hours. Due to a high demand for Volunteer hours, the Central Islip Public Library will not accept applications for same day or same week volunteering. For further questions or concerns, please contact either Ms. Thomas, Volunteer Supervisor, or Ms. Moss, Young Adult Librarian, by phone at 631-234-9333 ext. 5.
