For Grades 7th-12th
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all programs will continue to be held virtually. Please check our website and social media pages for any program additions or changes. PLEASE NOTE: ALL activities are limited to Central Islip cardholders only. The library encourages all residents to participate in its programs & activities. Please let us know in advance if you require any special accommodations because of a disability.

The CIPL Teen Discord server is now live! Discord is a digital platform allowing for the creation of unique online communities. Participants must be in 7th - 12th grade and registered with the library. Contact a Teen Librarian for more information and for an invitation link. Once registered, you can participate in the following programs:

August 18th at 7pm
Learn how to produce effective essays for your college applications! We'll cover what admission officials are looking for, how to select a suitable topic, how to write in first person, and more.
Free SAT Prep English Portion (Zoom)
August 5th and 19th at 7:00 p.m.
All SAT Prep courses take place live on Zoom. Please call or click below to register ahead of time for each course. The class link will be emailed to you.
