The Central Islip Public Library has several passes to local museums and attractions that may be used by patrons with a valid Adult Central Islip Public Library Card.
Museum Pass Guidelines:
Print-on-demand passes are valid for one day, so please reserve it for the day you wish to visit the museum. You will print out your own pass after reserving your date, and it does not need to be picked up or returned to the library. Print-on-demand passes have a printer icon next to the museum's name on the reservation page, so please take note of this before reserving your date.
Physical passes that need to be picked up and brought to the museum for admission will be valid for 3 days (a day to pick up the pass, a day to go the museum and a day to return the pass) so please reserve it for the day you wish to pick up the pass. If there is not a printer icon next to the name of the museum on the reservation page, this is a physical pass that needs to be picked up and returned to the library, so please take note of this before reserving your date. A fee of $20 will be charged for each day the pass is late. and a replacement fee of $500.00 will be charged if lost.
Please bring your library card and the pass to the museum for admission.
Information about the passes we currently have available can be found below. The library cannot guarantee the accuracy of museum hours, closings due to holidays, weather or parking fees, so we suggests that patrons call the museum prior to visiting or for any questions.
